This 30 minute workshop will discuss important steps people can take to promote themselves as professionals and how to spread their work using the internet and what the benefits of online social networks can bring. Members of the audience will be asked to give a business card so that a contact list can be made which will be sent to each attendee.

Iain Alexander

From an early age, Iain developed a passion for filmmaking and decided to pursue his dream to become a film director. He graduated from the International Film school of Paris in 2007 after 3 years of studies. Iain has worked on four feature films and many short films produced in the UK and France in various roles. He also created the ‘Film Industry Network’ on facebook which at present has over 6000 members in all areas of the film industry expanding 4 continents: America, Europe, Asia and Africa.
