Björk came to him because she liked Kirikou, and she wanted him to direct the music video, which made him gain some further recognition within the English-speaking world. He had a total freedom during the realization of that video, he said that it was the first time that he worked for somebody else, and was told to do whatever he wanted.

So, to all of you, the independent filmmakers in the world, always use your freedom and creative imagination in creating your masterpiece. We hope that Michel Ocelot inspires you!
