INT. BEDROOM – NIGHT

The girl jerks awake with a gasp. Sunlight streams in through the window. Joe turns over, looking at her.

JOE
What happened to your dress? Is that blood?

It takes a moment, but she looks down to see a crimson spot.
She turns to Joe if only for confirmation.

JOE (CONT.)
Not me…

She stares up at the ceiling. A fat drop of blood falls off the fan and lands on her forehead. They take a look around in the room that suddenly had become dark and cold. She steps out of bed and her foot touches something on the floor.

CUT TO:

INT. SUBWAY STATION – NIGHT

Close on an ODD LOOKING WOMAN

ODD LOOKING WOMAN
Are you forgiven transgressions while riding inventions of a human condition you can’t even prove exist?

Drop of blood trickles from her nose&falls to the yellow painted cement of the subway platform.

FEMALE TWINS get off the train.

The girl grips Joe’s hand as the twins pass.

THE GIRL (Begging, softly)
Don’t let me wake up.

CU: the girl’s face as she gasps awake, sweat dripping from her face.
