Our ÉCU-on-the-Road 2014 tour is ready for another stop; this time we are proud to announce that one of our European partners is giving us the possibility to screen three ÉCU’s winning films in Innsbruck, Austria. We can’t wait to stop at the Tyrolean Independent Film Festival and attend their 2014 Edition.

The Tyrolean Independent Film Festival (TyIFF) wants to bring exposure to independent filmmakers allowing screenings for the public, industry professionals, and press. Every year they are inviting industry professionals, financiers and sponsors, to give the filmmakers a chance for networking and reach a wider audience.

This year the TyIFF is taking place at the Metropol Kino in Innsbruck (Austria), from the 9th to the 12th of October 2014. Films have been separated in seven different categories and filmmakers are persistently competing for winning one of TyIFF’s ten awards. The official 2014 jury is composed by industry professional coming from all other the world.

In TyIFF 2014 Official Selection we can find three ÉCU winning films of 2014: the Best European Comedy Film GREAT (dir. Andreas Henn) from Germany, the Best Animated Film DRAG ME (dir. Nikos Kellis) from Greece and the Best Non-European Independent Documentary NOT ANYMORE: A STORY OF REVOLUTION (dir. VanDyke) from USA.

ÉCU has been partners with the festival since 2012 and we are happy to share the same missions and goals with TyIFF- giving an opportunity to independent filmmakers to reach wider audience and to make their films known to the worldwide film industry.
