After announcing the 2017 Official Selection last month, here at ÉCU March has flown by at light speed as we have been caught in an exhilarating whirlwind of arrangements for this year’s edition of the festival, less than a month away! As ever, we are cheerily eager to share this month’s developments with you all!

Firstly, we had a roaring time hosting the ÉCU 2017 Official Launch Party at the 6th arrondisement’s trendy and lively club, Rive Gauche, making for an enjoyable and entertaining kick off to this year’s festival merriments. The jam-packed night saw the ÉCU team, official selection directors and writers, industry professionals, as well as fellow film lovers mingle with one another in a mid-week get-together filled with dancing and mingling – a wonderful evening celebrating the best of independent cinema and all those who help to make the creation and showcasing of indie films possible!
