ÉCU is proud to announce the partnership with the Clare Valley Film Festival located in Australia. Like ÉCU, Clare Valley Film Festival aims to spread that inspiring indie spirit by showcasing works from all over the world. You can experience the festival’s variety of independent films at the annual showcase each and every November.
Two short films will be screened from the ÉCU 2013 Official Selection in the program. The Italian film “Balcanika Ltd.” will be screened together under the theme LOSS with four other films while the French film “Dog Sitting” will be screened as part of the comedy night on Friday. We are more than thrilled to showcase both of these brilliant films at such a prominent festival.
Film media research site, Screenculture.org wrote, “The Clare Valley Film Festival is building a reputation as one of the top educationally focused film festivals in regional Australia.”
They key objective of Clare Valley Film Festival is to both inspire and educate the young people interested in the art of filmmaking. The festival offers the chance for participants to enjoy a screenwriting class or even an opportunity to learn the tango dance routine from the short film, “Asha”. The festival concludes with the much anticipated gala awards and of course, an after party.
The ÉCU team is very enthusiastic about this collaboration with Clare Valley, a film festival that offers incredible opportunities and is very much engaged in their community.
