Dramatic Feature: Open to all Non-European feature films made with less than 50% participation by a major studio or television broadcaster. The film can be in any language, but subtitles in either English or French are highly recommended to ensure the best judging.

Dramatic Short: Open to all Non-European short films made with less than 50% participation by a major studio or television broadcaster. The film can be in any language, but subtitles in either English or French are highly recommended to ensure the best judging. NOTE: Running time cannot exceed 30 minutes.

Documentary: Open to all Non-European documentaries of any length made with less than 50% participation by a major studio or television broadcaster. The film can be in any language, but subtitles in either English or French are highly recommended to ensure the best judging.

IMPORTANT: If your film is chosen to be screened at ÉCU we will need the following in order to compile the festival‘s catalog:

ESSENTIAL CHECKLIST: Before sending your film make sure you have:

1. DVD clearly labeled with:

•         Name of film/Director/Run Time/Aspect ratio

2. Non English films need to be subtitled in English
3. Two digital screen shots of film (high resolution if possible)
4. One digital photo of director
5. Synopsis in English and in French if possible
6. Official trailer (if possible)

The 2013 Program Schedule will be posted in February 2013 and will offer ÉCU festival attendees of all ages and tastes a chance to experience the unique offerings that can only be found at an indie film fest.
