Jeff Gross Biography
Born in 1957 in Stamford, Connecticut, Jeffrey Gross had a cosmopolitan upbringing, moving as a child between Brazil, France, and the United States. For university, he settled in California, attending both UC Santa Cruz and UCLA, and completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in History (with a specialization in Intellectual History and Languages). After graduation, he briefly pursued a career as a professional soccer player, but woke up before it was too late, deciding to become a writer. In 1981, he moved to a tiny Greek island called Astypalea, where he remained for a year and half; he then returned to Paris, where he continues to live today.

Most recently, he directed a 30-minute short film, entitled “Monsieur Boulo.”
