Tell me about your experience at ÉCU 2008?

It has been a very important experience for us. Our work group became stronger and we really appreciated the organization's enthusiasm.

We were attending the award ceremony with a bit of excitement... suddenly they called us for best actress award, a great pleasure. Then when all the prizes seemed to be gone, we won the best film award... unexpected and wonderful! It was a great emotion to win the best film award among so many people and so many good films.

We didn't expect to win and we didn't know anybody, but actually we won and we realized once for all that we made a good job with L'Estate D'Inverno.

We consider this award as recognition for our courage and for our desire to do high quality cinema.

Winning the award ‘Europe’s Best Independent Film 2008’ pushed the film. It helped us to communicate our film's worth, gave us credibility and encouragement. We are very proud of this award.

What are you working on now?

We have just finished the editing of our last film, Fuga Dal Call Center (Escape from the Call Center) by Federico Rizzo, a film about the problem of temporary work, which is a great social problem in Italy.

Can you tell me more?

Meanwhile, his long-time girlfriend Marzia, in order to continue studying and pay for her share of the living expenses, is forced to work as an operator for a phone sex service provider.
