Rest of the Team

Rhiannon

Festival Manager for 4 years. I think one of the most important things I have learnt during my last four years at the film festival is that ‘nothing is impossible’. You can make anything happen with a positive attitude, confidence, determination and a bucket load of hard work.

Kädi

“The Estonian”. I moved to Paris, to check out what the city has to offer me. At ÉCU, I started as a a marketing coordinator and seven months later got promoted as festival manager. I am fun-loving, active and outgoing person. I am in love with chocolate, ice-cream, japanese food and latin music :)

Clementine

Well I’d have to say that I’m the best thing since sliced bread. I’m very modest too.

Amy

If I were a beverage I would be a cappucino because I’m a massive frother.

Cesar

I am a multi tasking guy, providing the festival my usefull skills: crocodile hunter, tap and pole dancer, natural sound effect engineer, laugh designer. You need help for anything? I have what you need ! I am also French but nobody is perfect.

Alexander

“Hola. I was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia, where I studied International Business before moving to New York to study photography. Two years ago I moved to Bulgaria to pursue a Journalism and Mass Communication degree at the American University in Bulgaria. Currently, besides working on other media projects I am ÉCU’s communication liaison for Spain, the Balkans and Latin America. Si señor! ”

Alessia

I am Italian but I feel more like a citizen of the world. International art, theatre and cultural nuances in all forms are my passion. I’ve studied languages, acting, journalism and I have a weakness for the cinema and cinematography. I’am creative professional, highly motivated and efficient multi-tasker. At ÉCU, I manage international partnerships with Italy. My motto is: What tomorrow brings is yet to be seen!

Helene

My name is Helene. For some reason, it is quite difficult to pronounce my name – no matter which country I am in. I was born and raised in sunny California. I recently graduated from Mills College with a degree in English/Creative Writing. As a graduation gift, I received a ticket to France and loved it. Hence, my presence here. I love spicy food, my iPad, writing, watching movies, and reading books about ridiculous people and their lives. I am presently working as an intern for the ÉCU in the sponsorship department.

Katie

I’m from England and I came to Paris in May 2011 to participate in filming for a Documentary. Fell in love with Paris and I am now an Intern at ÉCU working as the ‘Submission Co-ordinator’. I may be British, but I do not drink tea or eat biscuits!

Marie

Goddag everyone, I’m Marie and from Denmark. Currently I am studying at AUP where I study Communication and Film. I feel very lucky to be a part of ÉCU and its international team of workers.

Andrea

I’m an Italian guy, cinema addict living his
“fabuleux destin” in Paris. I am also obsessive compulsive Croissant-aux-Amandes eater.”

Gaia

I am Gaia, ready to get the best internship at ÉCU.
I love laughing, eating sweets as every Sicilian girl.
I am too curious about the world and its funny inhabitants!
As I am always looking for art and human geniuses,I sometimes get lost in my dreams..my friends call me Alice in Wonderland:)!

Sophie

I am a language student from London currently
majoring in French and Italian at Edinburgh University.
Have just spent 5 months in Rome studying Italian art, one of my many passions! Feel very lucky to be interning with ÉCU and am priviledged to be working with another passion of mine!

Robert

A freelance writer and composer from England. Now based in Paris, I am an online creative content editor for ÉCU Film Festival and occasional boom operator.

Elisabeth

Hi everyone, I am Elisabeth, a French freelance translator, and live near Paris. I am very happy to be part of the ÉCU community and enjoy translating the articles and interviews for the French readers out there! I love travelling to discover different cultures, different people, and different foods!

Rodrigo

I am half German, half Portuguese, currently doing a PhD on Soviet History in Berlin. As bookreading can be such a grim and incredibly lonely business sometimes, filmwatching remains one of my most appreciated quality time activities. I am part of a network that organises weekly shortfilm screenings in Berlin, and I work as voluntary translator for ÉCU. I’ve never been to Paris though.

Amy Grace

Hey I’m Amy Grace, currently doing my Masters in French and Spanish translation back home in Manchester, England and dying to get back to the cool side of the Channel. Until then I’m happy to be helping ÉCU out as a voluntary translator. I love travelling, my iPod, a good cup of tea and discovering fresh and exciting films.

Ariana

Originally from Colorado, I’ve been studying journalism, French and dance at New York University for the past two years and am now finishing up my third at NYU’s Paris campus. This city is proving to be the most magical place I could have imagined (due in part to the palmiers that I eat daily!) and I can’t wait to continue to explore it.

Christina

When I was 18 I moved from Sicily to Milan, then Boston, then Lisbon and now I am in Paris. I love chocolate, music, and everything creative in life.

Anna

I love being with other people, travelling, dancing and any form of cinema! I’m always smiling, my motto is: “Smile and life will smile back at you”. And I am in Paris doing what I like… why shouldn’t I smile?! :)
