
We are now accepting submissions for ÉCU 2009. The deadline for all submissions is DECEMBER 15TH 2008 with a late deadline of JANUARY 15TH 2009.
Submitting your films to The European Independent Film Festival is easy. We have two submission methods: the first with our partner Withoutabox, and the second via PayPal.
Submission Method #1 : Withoutabox
By clicking here you will be taken to the Withoutabox website where you can submit your films through their totally secure submission system.

Submission Method #2 : PayPal
Submitting your film through this method is a four-step process.
Step One: Click on the appropriate category below to pay immediately by PayPal. This method is quick, safe and secure. All you need is a valid credit card. Paying by PayPal* will ensure that your film gets looked at quicker.
Step Two: Download, print, and fill out the Submission form.
Step Three: This is the online registration, which will immediately let us know about you and your film. This gets you into the system and will allow us to schedule the screening time for the judges.

You will receive an email confirmation as soon as we have received your film, documents, and payment.
*Note: If you cannot pay by PayPal, please write a check payable in Euros - in the appropriate amount (see prices above) - to the order of "Scott Hillier".
IMPORTANT: If your film is chosen to be screened at ÉCU 2009 we will need the following in order to compile the festival‘s catalogue:
- A short three line synopsis in English and preferably in French
- A screenshot or publicity shot of your film
- The audiences and judges for your films will be very international and to enhance their viewing / judging experiences ALL films that are nominated as part of The Official Selection need to be subtitled.
- If your film is in English, it will need French subtitles.
- If your film is in French, it will need English subtitles.
- If your film is in a language other than English or French, it will need
English subtitles.
The 2009 Program Schedule will be posted in February 2009 and will offer ÉCU festival attendees of all ages and tastes a chance to experience the unique offerings that can only be found at an indie film fest.
