We are happy to announce that ÉCU 2008 Alumni Stephen David Brooks will begin production of his new feature film “FLYTRAP” early next month on December 5th.  “FLYTRAP” combines science fiction with dark humor to tell the story of an English astronomer who becomes spellbound by those who are holding him hostage. The film will feature stars Jeremy Crutchley and Ina-Alice Kopp and will also co-star Brook’s collaborator, Billy ‘Sly’ Williams. Brooks has revealed that the film will be one of the first features to use the Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera, a new cutting edge cinematic technology. The Blackmagic Camera is preferable due to its convenient size, HD sensor, lossless compression, flexibility with a variety of lenses, and affordability ($995 US). With technology such as this, anyone can turn their ideas in to a cinematic masterpiece.
