With the weather cooling down and the scarves coming out… you know that Autumn is “falling” upon us! It seems that in a blink of an eye, we have left September behind and stumbled upon October. Here at ECU, we’ve been working hard watching your submissions and preparing for next year’s festival! As the work season is coming into full swing, don’t forget to take time to rest and have fun as well. Here are the fun events that are happening in October in Paris!
Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre
9 – 13 October (18th arrondissement)
Celebrating their 86th year, Fete des Vendanges returns to the 18ere arrondissement with a new celebration of colors. You can go straight to the Sacré-Coeur Basilica or to Place du Tertre, where street artists do tourists portraits and illustrations of the neighborhood. You’ll truly feel the autumn experience in Paris here: with singers, artists, food, wine, and shows – you can have every day filled with fun activities! Le Manoir de Paris
4 October – 7 November (10th arrondissement)
What’s October without Halloween related events? Every year, Le Manoir de Paris puts on a terrifying Halloween haunted mansion show. Bringing together amazing storylines, sets, and actors, be prepared to escape reality and jump into a new kind of horror. Halloween weekend will have longer lines, so it is advised to buy tickets during less busy days. Keep in mind this event is not exactly a family friendly environment, and children under 12 are not permitted. However, come with friends! You are allowed to dress up so go crazy with your halloween costume (no masks) and test your fears!
