As every year, la Villette park becomes the site of open-air movie projections, offering you a chance to relive national and international classics outdoors. It also provides the opportunity to discover interesting new films. Both classics and contemporary films are displayed in their original languages with French subtitles. Apart from la Villette open air screenings there is one more spot where you can enjoy the city’s starry sky and amazing movies. From the 10th of July to the 11th of September the Moulin Rouge suggestive rooftop will turn into an open-air cinema, offering to the public free projections of films satisfying all tastes. What are you waiting for?

Exhibition of Dora Maar

The Centre Pompidou pays tribute to the French artist, poet and photographer Dora Maar, inviting you to retrace her brilliant career. Exposition is quite rich regarding facts and materials – more than 500 photographs, paintings and documents tell a story about Donna Maar’s remarkable artistic and private life. She is also remembered for her passionate and troubled relationship with Picasso. Nevertheless, she stands her own ground at being one of the most significant artists of the 20thcentury. The exhibition will be held until the 29th of July.

Bastille Day 14th July

National orchestra and some of the greatest international singers invite you to celebrate the Bastille Day in Champ de Mars. The symphonic concert starts at 21:15 and it will be held just in front ofthe Eiffel Tower. Following the huge success of last year’s edition, once again the National orchestra will share the stage with Choeur de Radio France and Maîtrise de Radio France. The concert will be followed by the traditional spectacular fireworks above the Champ de Mars.
