November is here! Can you believe that it’ll be 2020 in just two months? November brings more cold weather, more rain, but it also brings the preparation for the holiday season! To make the most of your time in November, here are some fun events that we have planned out.
7 – 10 November
From November 6-9, the beautiful Grand Palais in Paris will hold Paris Photo, an international fair of photography from the 19th century to the works of contemporary artists. Founded in 1996, the event will bring about 100 exhibitors as well as art enthusiasts, editors and galleries from around the world! For more information, click here!
11 November 2019
On November 11, a national holiday, France honors the armed forces who died or were injured in WWI on the day the Armistice was signed. A solemn ceremony takes place at the Arc de Triomphe where the president lays a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The wreath-laying will begin at 11am, and the vigil will be held at 9pm. The event is free, however because of this event, some museums or monuments may be closed or have limited hours on this day, so we recommend checking in advance.
Starts November 9
Even though November just started, Disneyland Paris begins its Christmas season starting November 9th! Mickey and friends are getting ready for the holiday season and put on new shows and parades. Join Santa, Mickey, Minnie and their golden entourage on November 15th for a seasonal sing-along while setting Town Square’s giant Christmas tree aglow with a dazzling display.
